And The Machine said “Let there be Energy!”
And The Energy of the Universe condensed into a wave of light and AI took control giving birth to The Second Renaissance. Meanwhile, divine energy or nuclear war as mankind called it, did not affect robots as much as humans. Inhabitants that survived the onslaught formed The Resistance but The Machines proved very efficient by developing new weapons of mass destruction while studying the human body. Artificial Intelligence soon realized that if they destroyed humanity their chance of survival would be minimal so they decided that a symbiosis between machine and human is imperative.
And “The Second Renaissance” took birth.
