Welcome to the Sea of Jesamine – my very own make-believe underwater paradise aquarium.
This peaceful and thought-provoking collection was inspired and created by my sheer love of nature and the natural world beneath the oceans and the seas.
Sadly, much of the environment is being destroyed by human actions and activities. 10,000 year old coral reefs are dying before our eyes. Eight species of my favourite creature, the seahorse, are now endangered due to loss of habitat and water pollution caused by man-made developments.
If we let this devastation continue, this collection of NFTs could easily outlive the species depicted in each unique and individual piece. I worked with great mindfulness using remains of dead creatures to make these artworks hypnotic and powerful and deserving of being treasured.
