Fear and loathing in outer space

The story behind my current NFT goes back about a year ago with a painting series I started, at the beginning of Covid. The series is called Alien-nation.

I wanted to convey the message of how humans are all connected through the tradition of alienating ourselves and others (amongst other aspects). I didn’t want to focus too much on race in order to convey the messages more easily and create a space that anyone could relate to.  Obviously Hunter S. Thompson created amazing work but more importantly, he was passionate about the ugly truth and realness/ weird things in life which is why I chose this as my first NFT piece.
