I have always been heavily inspired by rocks, gemstones and dynamic landscapes which reflects in most of my art. In July 2021 I visited the island Gotland in Sweden which is known for it’s landscape. During the stay I spent three days in Fårösund which is the connecting village to the small island Fårö which is known for it’s “Rauks” / column-like landforms.
On Fårö there were a dozen different rauk-fields but one of my favourites was the “Rauk-Dog”. In this art-piece I have used a photo I captured of the Rauk-Dog on 11th of July and mixed it with one of my CGI characters Ziva.
